A Female Engages In Irresponsible And Abusive Drinking And Receives Outstanding Help At An Alcohol Rehabilitation Center For Symptoms Of Alcohol Withdrawal And Symptoms Of Alcoholism
Beth was the mother of four children. Beth had been feeling quite fretful recently and began to "medicate" herself by having several shots of bourbon each evening after she tucked her children into bed. After around eight months of this drinking routine, she finally understood the fact that instead of helping her unwind and cope with her issues, drinking alcohol made her feel less restful when she got up in the morning. This, consequently, made her feel even more stressed all through the day.
After thinking about her predicament for two or three days, Beth made up her mind to discuss her drinking problem with her closest friend. In actual fact, about five minutes into their chat, Beth's friend Alexis, mentioned that she knew about an extremely knowledgeable and helpful physician at the local alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility. After talking to her friend, Beth immediately got motivated to call the treatment clinic and make an appointment.
Seven days later she eventually got to meet the doctor her best friend had been talking about. After their brief introduction, Beth explained to the psychiatrist that ever since her husband and she got divorced, she has been having a hard time spiritually, financially, and emotionally.
As Beth was talking to the doctor, she highlighted the point that she frankly believed that she and Robert dated long enough to know each other well enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, to the contrary, everything appeared to go downhill. What is more, both she and Robert started to drink, and their hazardous and abusive drinking adversely affected their relationship, their love for one another, and their finances.
The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been going through are due to her abusive and careless drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the usual symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol rehab.
After spending two months in inpatient alcohol rehabilitation, Beth was slowly but surely able to understand that the main root of her stress and her depression was the fact that she had not resolved her bitter feelings she has for her former husband who had divorced her. In short, Beth let these feelings perturb her to such an extent that she became an alcoholic.
Armed with these insights and with the medications her doctor prescribed, she eventually refrained from drinking, she began to feel significantly less depressed, and she began making time for social activities with her family and friends. What is more, a few months after receiving treatment from her doctor, began to date once again.
It was apparent that Beth had come a long way. In fact, just around six months after she completed her rehab, she had finally laid the negative thoughts of Robert, her ex-husband, to rest and was starting to feel more complete and more spiritually "sound" and psychologically "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
