Three of the six pack are married, they are wonderful strong women college educated, 3 of them moms with children of their own, and they are all four homeowners with beautifully kept homes. Sometimes only occasionally I feel a bit bad for instilling my "everything has a location motto" in them simply because they appear weary. They have careers and husbands and family demands and they follow the Saturday ritual to a tee. I try now to tell them that it's ok to let stuff go a little, nobody is checking, they can relax a while and nobody will realize, but I performed my job well, they wear themselves thin making sure everything was in its place.

I am a totally different parent now, whether through personal discovery or exhaustion I am not certain. I prefer to believe self discovery has taught me a thing or two, but secretly I realize those kids simply wore me out. I am lax now to the tenth degree, oh I nevertheless love a clean home, and still keep my personal space clean, however the Saturday rituals have long left the agenda.
